This year's Little Chef Competition took an exciting twist as we invited entire families to join and compete. The search for our finalists resulted in two incredibly talented and wonderful families - the Bell family from British Columbia, and the Sparling family from Alberta. Their love of cooking together was so inspiring that when it came time to choose one winner, we just couldn't do it! We are thrilled to announce that both families are winners and will be heading off to Italy for an incredible culinary experience in Tuscany. 

We can't wait to hear all about their amazing adventures! Learn more about what they whipped up and maybe it will inspire your family to get cooking together!

The Bell Family

The Bell family made a classic roast dinner with winter veggies and potatoes two ways.  A pork tenderloin stuffed with green veggies like Swiss chard, and beet tops was beautifully highlighted by the roasted winter root veggies (a selection of Little Potatoes, carrots, turnip, parsnips, and beets) and the always delicious mashed Little Potatoes.

The Sparling Family

With a nod to the big prize destination, the Sparling family presented a gorgeous Italian inspired dish with Little Potato gnocchi topped with bacon, and fresh caprese skewers. And because you can simply never, ever have too many potatoes they included perfectly roasted Little Potato skins topped with sour cream. Absolute perfection!
