It's no secret that being pregnant comes along with numerous obstacles when getting dressed for daily activities and special occasions. However, there are tons of chic and stylish options out there for those that are expecting. With the holidays approaching, Stylist Erica Wark showed us how to incorporate the latest fashion trends into pregnancy attire so that you can look and feel your best during the busiest time of the year!

BOLD WITH A VELVET BLAZER

You can never go wrong with a velvet tuxedo blazer! It instantly elevates your holiday look, especially when it has silver accents. If you’re sick of pairing blazers with a classic white dress shirt, opt for a lightweight wool turtleneck instead. This will take your holiday outfit from ordinary to modern and elevated. A black turtleneck looks great under a trendy blazer and both pieces can be worn separately for versatility.

GLAM WITH SEQUINS

Sequins are always a great idea for a holiday party, especially if you want to make a statement. A sequin suit is a fun and unique way to dress up for the holidays and you can re-wear the blazer and pants with other pieces that you already own. We paired this look with a belly band so that the pants can be rocked post-baby. With bold earrings, a beaded blotch and sheer gem pumps, you’ll make being pregnant look fabulous.

POP OF COLOUR WITH BURGUNDY

Colours like burgundy and plum are gorgeous for the holidays! While velvet might seem like an uncomfortable option when you're pregnant, a velvet dress can actually offer lots of stretch room while still looking chic. To go for a modern monochromatic look, you can add matching burgundy tights. Paired with a statement boot and blingy earrings, you'll be ready for any holiday party on your calendar!
