If you associate suits with business meetings and days at the office, we don't blame you. But the best part about suits is how versatile they can be! Suits are a big trend this season so stylist Erica Wark showed us how we can wear one suit five different ways. Whether you're heading out for evening cocktails or an interview, these looks will make a statement for any occasion.

MAKE A STATEMENT WITH A FULL SUIT

When it comes to shopping for suits, try and find something that's figure-hugging and structured. If something you love has limited sizes, you can always get it tailored to fit you perfectly. While you can wear a full suit as is, there are several ways to make the look stand out more. For example, adding a wide belt on top of your blazer will completely transform your suit and give it a jumpsuit look. If adding a pop of colour excites you, opt for a bold blouse to layer with your blazer, then tie in the same colour to your handbag and shoes.

GO BUSINESS CASUAL WITH THE PANTS

If your suit pants have a subtle plaid or line-design to them, use that to your advantage! Different patterns can still work together, especially when neutral colours are involved. Pairing your suit pants with a separate blazer is an easy and great way to mix and match your suiting. The outfit can still be business professional but you can also play around with the style and pattern to create an out-of-office look. Best of all, you'd never be able to guess that the pants are from your suit set.

CREATE A CASUAL CHIC LOOK WITH THE BLAZER

The great thing about blazers is that they can be paired with almost any outfit. For example, a classic button-up dress will look completely elevated by putting a suit blazer over it. You can add personality to the look by pairing it with a fun pair of tights and sock boots.

HAVE AN EDGY NIGHT OUT WITH DIFFERENT TEXTURES

While it might be hard to imagine wearing your "business" suit on a Saturday night, it can definitely be done! You can take an ordinary suit and completely recreate it into a night-out look by pairing your favourite moto jacket with the suit trousers! Not only will it add an edge to the outfit, but it will also give you the foundation to create a head-to-toe black look. You can even mix and match different textures by adding in a sheer top and embellished bag.

ADD A POP OF COLOUR

Another great way to break up your suit is by pairing it with a different pant style. Don't be afraid to transform your suit by opting for a wide-leg pant instead of the classic cigarette style. If you're ready to make even more of a statement, incorporate bold coloured pants in whatever style you choose. Whether it's a stand-out red or an electric blue, adding a bright pant to your suit blazer will give your outfit a whole new breath of life.
