Everyone's makeup bag is unique. But sometimes after years of bad habits, it's time for your bag - and even your makeup - to get a makeover. Beauty expert Meagan Munro has the tips and products you'll need to switch things up.

Stop stuffing everything into one bag

By doing this, you're actually making it harder to find the products you need and causing a mess inside your bag. Cutting down the size of your bag will help with this. A smaller bag means you'll only be putting the essential products you need instead. Products that have multiple purposes or uses are great for cutting down on space as well. Try using a palette that has both eye and cheek products and a BB cream with SPF.

Tossing out expired makeup

Take the time to go through your makeup collection. If you can't remember the last time you used a product - or bought it - throw it out! Use this opportunity to also clean your makeup brushes. Cleaniness and hygiene is still very important when it comes to makeup.

Changing up your makeup look

Are the products you using the same you used in high school? Maybe it's time to switch things up. Thicker brows and dewy skin is in! Using a dewy foundation and/or highlighter and a brow pencil are the perfect products to achieve this look.
