If you've spent any time on Instagram lately, you've probably noticed that 'shelfies' are a thing - a photo of a curated and beautifully staged shelf. Whether it holds books, dishes, or collectables, the shelf itself doesn't matter much, just how the items on it are presented. And now, beauty lovers are getting involved with bathroom selfies and showing off all of their favourite products and how they arrange them.

While the rest of your house is litely arranged for esthetic only, the bathroom shelfie needs to meet both style and function needs since you're actually using these items on a regular basis. Beauty expert Christine Cho is sharing her tips for the best way to organize your products and tools, and even sharing her must-have beauty products that she keeps in her own cabinet.

It's not just about the photo - storing items in a logical manner will make it more likely that you'll actually use all of your products, or realize when you have more than you need. Not everything needs to be on display. Hair products and tools can be kept neatly tucked away in bins or baskets under your sick. Makeup and makeup brushes might want to follow suit if you have a lot of them. Skincare, however, is another story. Christine suggests grouping items based on function, and in order of usage to make things easy. Sometimes having a lot of products scattered haphazardly contributes to confusion on what to use, and what you actually like and don't like. Shelf organizing helps categorize and clarify!
