There are currently more than 300 million people around the world who use online dating apps. Many people actually end up finding work when using dating apps but it can get quite confusing when you mix business and pleasure. The solution? Using apps that are made specifically for job hunting! Yes, you read that right. Tech expert Amber McArthur joins us to share two new apps that are changing the way we find work. And it gets even better! Toronto-based brother and sister duo, Stephanie and Alexander Florio, who created a similar app called SWOB joins us as well. They won the first ever Canadian edition of the Pitch To Rich contest!

Ripple

This app gives you the opportunity to swipe through connections to grow and strengthen your network. No need to carry around business cards anymore when you can connect using the Nearby feature. You'll also be able to cater it to your field in interest and related join groups in your professional life!

Bumble Bizz

Bizz is actually an extension of Bumble and has new take on networking - emphasizing the importance of opportunity over job hunting itself. Since it started in 2017, the app allows you to network and even find a mentor!

SWOB

Created by a sibling duo in Toronto this app is geared towards students looking to step ahead in their career. It also makes recruits easier find hirees. The app covers all industries from retail, food services, seasonal, part-time and full time job opportunities.
