We all know what those bad habits are, but we keep them up. For me, it was drinking, but I quit 17 years ago and have never looked back.

2. Limit Energy Vampires 

We all have these people in our lives who suck the energy from us. They think the world revolves around them and they aren't changing. Plus, they lack empathy.

3.  Always Exceed Expectations 

Early in my career I worked closely with Tony Robbins. I asked him for a two-sentence testimonial and he made me a 6-minute video. That's an example of creating value and exceeding expectations.

4.  Prioritize Your Health

Whether you're in school or starting a business, we underestimate how important it is to eat well, sleep well, and exercise. This is life-changing. Last year I started an intense fitness program 5 times / week and my business' revenue doubled - this is not just a coincidence.

5. Love Your Champions 

Keep the people who believe in you close. For me, it's my parents. They have always been there for me and I will always be there for them. It's a magical relationship that I cherish and it's thanks to them that I am who I am today.
