Entryways are a great way to inject personality into your home- they are generally easy to furnish and provide an unexpected but perfect a to display art and set the tone for the rest of your home. This is also a perfect place to add colour and interest with accessories like area rugs and ottoman. Consider using a console table to display decorative objects to create a welcoming feel, and also a handy place to keep your keys. But remember - storage is key and should also be part of your design. Use decorative boxes or bowls to toss keys into and  install durable hooks to hang coats. Lastly, incorporate flowers into the space to create ambiance and luxury without actually spending a ton of money!
