Basket

Wall art

Tools you need

  • Basket (different sizes)
  • Screws
  • Drill

Step by step

  1. Use your baskets as feature wall art above your bed or couch. 
  2. Add depth and dimensions by attaching your baskets to the wall
  3. Arrange your layout on the floor, using baskets of different sizes and depth
  4. Transfer design onto wall
  5. Simple screw the baskets through the centre onto wall

Light pendant

Tools you need

  • Basket
  • Paint (If you want to add a personal touch)
  • Light Pendant Cord Set
  • Light Bulb
  • Scissors
  • Marker

Step by step

  1. Cut off handles on basket (if they exist)
  2. Take the light bulb fitting from your cord set and trace the size of the circle onto the middle portion of the bottom of the basket
  3. Cut out the hole for the light socket to fit in
  4. Secure it into place with the other end of the light fixture
  5. Add a bulb and enjoy!

Ribba Picture Frame

Tools you need

  • Picture Frame
  • Cup hooks
  • Ribbon
  • Drill

Step by step

  1. Take apart the picture frame by removing the glass (front) and the back panel.  All you are left with is the square frame
  2. Measure and mark on the inside top of frame placement of your cup hooks
  3. Drill pilot holes in the marked areas and screw in cup hooks
  4. Add some cup hooks on the sides of the frame
  5. Connect the two side hooks with a ribbon/rope (to hang sunglasses, earrings)

Tray

Tools you need

  • Picture Frame
  • Peel and Stick Wallpaper
  • Decorative Hardware x2
  • Drill

Step by step

  1. Take apart the picture frame by removing the glass (front) and the back panel. 
  2. Wallpaper the back panel of the picture frame with your choice of a peel and stick pattern.
  3. Mark the outside side of the frame where your decorative hardware will go
  4. Drill some pilot holes and attach your hardware to the sides
  5. Finish off with some decorative accessories and enjoy

Twin Bed Slat

Rustic art

Tools you need

  • Twin Bed Slat (Bed Base)
  • Paint
  • Brush/Tray
  • Drill
  • Screws

Step by step

  1. Take apart the twin bed slat and arrange them tightly together on the floor
  2. Remove two bed slats as these will become the back support for the art
  3. Use the supports and individually attach the front slats, individually screwing them to the support
  4. Once all the slats are attached turn around to start painting
  5. Outline a pattern using painters tape on the front of the panels
  6. Fill in your pattern using your favourite colours of latex paint
  7. Let dry, peel tape and enjoy!

Hanging organizer

Tools you need

  • Twin Bed Slats/Frame
  • S Hooks
  • Brackets

Step by step

  1. On roll your bed slats and position them on the wall to determine height and placement, mark your spot
  2. Attach support hooks in the marked areas for your bed slats to hang off of
  3. Hang bed slats off of hooks
  4. Use S clips to hang containers for storage, clipboards etc.
  5. Hang magazines off of it and décor for a finished look.
  6. Finish off with some decorative accessories and enjoy
