Whether you live in a small apartment or a 4-bedroom house, keeping things organized can sometimes feel impossible. Creating a system that works for you and your family can take time, which is why Professional Organizer, Michele Delory, showed us effective organizing hacks for key areas in your home!

IN THE KITCHEN

While it might be tempting to toss all your lids in a cabinet, having them properly organized will clear up space and keep them easily accessible. Using a stationary and mail stand can help store all the lids for your containers in one place without having them in a messy pile. When it comes to bottles, you can repurpose a wine stand and even a magazine box!

UNDER THE SINK

If you've picked up the habit of putting all your miscellaneous items under the sink, we don't blame you. This area tends to get neglected, mostly because it's easy to hide. From unused cleaning supplies to refills of products, it's important to clear out any expired items that you have under the sink. File boxes are a great tool to place under the sink to store tools, brushes, cleaning bottles and more!

THE KIDS' BEDROOM

Between clothes and toys, organizing kids' bedrooms can feel never-ending. A firm cloth laundry bin is the perfect way to store your kid's stuffed animals, nerf guns, lightsabers or anything in between. Laundry bins are typically tall enough to hold bigger toys but can also be used for small ones too!

If getting your kids out the door in the morning is a daily struggle, consider helping them organize their outfits in advance. You can use a hanging clothing organizer to label each day of the week and to store the chosen outfits. That way, your child can get ready in the morning without having to go through their entire wardrobe!
