Redecorating your home can be difficult if you want to visualize a new space. While home magazines and decor TV shows are great for creating inspiration, apps can be a great option! Tech expert Amber MacArthur is here to share her favourite apps to help you redesign your new space.

Color Capture

This app captures colour no matter where you are and matches it to over 3,300 Benjamin Moore paint colours. With your chosen colour combinations, you'll be able to save them for later, share them on social media, find your nearest Benjamin Moore retailer to buy the paint and more!

Houzz

Become an interior designer by using this app to find and buy products for your home. If you need some inspiration, you'll also be able to look at over 16 million photos of the inside and outside of homes! If you're looking for help, you'll even be able to find home professionals in your local area.

Rooomy

Step up your interior design game with this app that uses virtual reality and 3D modeling! Pick your furniture item, turn on AR and then place the 3D rendering of furniture item in your space through your camera! You'll be able to vizualize furniture in your space without having to purchase it first.

Magic Plan

You'll be able to create dimensioned floor plans without actively measuring or drawing! This app makes it easy with over 1000 objects (furniture, decor etc.) to add your plan. Once you've decided what you like, you can order the materials from right straight from the app!
