Whether you live in a studio apartment or a four-bedroom house, organization is a key aspect of creating a calm and inviting space. While it might be hard to come up with new and creative ways to hide clutter, there’s always a solution! Organization expert Michele Delory showed us two ways that you can organize small areas of your home to avoid chaos.

ENTRYWAY SOLUTION

Having your shoes scattered on the floor near your front door isn’t exactly ideal. Shoe holders are the perfect solution for those that want to put them away neatly. Best of all, you can also use shoe holders for your everyday essentials that you would typically toss onto a table or in your closet. From hats and scarves to umbrellas and purses, a shoe holder can be used for a variety of your belongings! If it’s frustrating for you to continuously take your daily shoes in and out of the holder, keep your most-used pair by the door and keep the rest tucked away. For smaller items, such as sunglasses and keys, small plastic containers are a great solution. You can use containers for mail, cards and anything else that you don’t have a place for.

EXERCISING ROOM SOLUTION

For those that want to save on a gym membership by working out at home, this storage solution was made for you! While not everyone has a large amount of square footage, pegboards offer a simple way to store several items without taking up loads of space. For example, just one board can hold a yoga mat, stretch bands, skipping ropes, a device and more! Best of all, you can use this solution in more than one room. If you decide that working out from home isn't your thing, the pegboard can be used in a crafts room, a garage or even a basement for miscellaneous items and tools.
