Barnyard Break 
March 3 to 18, 2012
The Canada Agriculture Museum launches a new spring season with its annual Barnyard Break. Take in a wide variety of demonstrations from “Butter Making and Tasting” to “Cooking with Maple Syrup”. What’s more, this March there will be a number of calves in need of naming, so visitors are invited to offer their suggestions. Children can get creative and keep themselves busy with a winter-themed craft. So come learn while enjoying yourself at the Canada Agriculture Museum this March Break and all month long!

Grossology is being featured at The Discovery Centre!
What kid doesn’t like to talk about burping, farting and barfing? In this entertaining yet educational exhibit, the Discovery Centre will take on these “gross” subjects by welcoming Grossology – the (Impolite) Science of the Human Body. Based on the hugely popular book of the same name, Grossology is a science-in-disguise exhibit where kids get the answers to many of the slimy, oozy, crusty, stinky questions they have about the human body. Topics include boogers, burps and barf, along with many other bodily functions and concepts like digestion, waste, body odour and gas.
