Forget The Wreath, Try These Modern Takes On Holiday Door Decorations

Glen Peloso has three fun and festive new ways to make your home pop with unexpected seasonal style

Custom Door Swag: Tie together a few pieces of pine or cedar to make a bow.  Glue oversized tags from a hardware or craft store overtop and hang pine cones below with twine.  Add a fun message with chalk for your guests! 
 
Window Whisk Banner: This is a perfect way to decorate your kitchen window!  Hang various-sized whisks with ribbon to the top of the frame and add some rosemary for a fresh scent.  Fill the bottom of each whisk with your favourite holiday chocolate or candy.
 
Light Up Your Mirror: Use a lightbulb sign to add some pizzazz or “joy” to a mirror, especially to a part of the house where entertaining guests (like the bar area).  Decorate overtop with a pine bow and gold ribbon.
