Foods & Remedies to Achieve Optimal Digestive Health 

  • Special PRE and PRO biotics (great for both diarrhea and constipation)
  • Your normal diet should include six and a half cups of fruits and vegetables every day in order for your body to gain enough fibre.
  • If your body is not gaining enough fibre you can take supplemental fibre like Psyllium husk.
  • Psyllium husk: use it to bulk stool in the case of diarrhea, or to loosen (by adding lots of water) in the case of constipation
  • Glutamine: helping/preventing intestinal permeability and repairing the intestine 
  • Digestive enzymes: lowering potential of undigested food (especially in the elderly) 
  • Activated charcoal and Bentonite clay to absorb toxins (if they are suspected) 
  • Get tested and then avoid gluten if you suspect intolerance to it (1 in 100 people have celiac disease – 97% of those who do DON’T KNOW IT!) 
  • If you have IBS, get tested for food intolerances and then avoid those foods
