Alternative health expert Bryce Wylde discusses some healthy smoothie alternatives beat the summer heat.

“Beet N’ Berry Blast”

Ingredients:
  • 1 medium beet (juiced)
  • ½ cup mixed fresh or frozen organic berries
  • ½ cup POM juice
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • Water or ice to preferred dilution

“Nutty No Nonsense”

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tblsp nut butter (peanut, almond, cashew)
  • 1 scoop (5 grams) rice protein powder
  • ½ skinned, boiled potato
  • 1 tsp chia seeds or ground flax
  • 1 tsp honey

“Whey Better Immunity”

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup organic milk
  • 5 grams vanilla or plain whey protein isolate
  • Raw cacao powder
  • 2 tblsps maple syrup
  • 1 tsp maca powder

“Marvelous Marilyn Mint Matcha”

Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup coconut water
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup ice mint tea
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 tblsps honey
  • Ice to desired chill & consistency
