Whitney was discovered due to her fantastic dance moves which prompted her own show, “My Big Fat Fabulous Life.” The series, when it premiered, had 1.3 million viewers! Currently the third season of the show is on the air.
Whitney grew up as a dancer, but due to issues with her confidence she stopped dancing. After she started working toward self-acceptance Whitney got back to dancing, making it clear that it doesn’t matter what your size is! She began teaching other women who were plus-sized to dance, to try destroy the stigma that surrounds people who are overweight.
Her show helps to demonstrate the struggle she still has, to be confident and healthy, something that she is constantly working towards. She is on The Marilyn Denis Show to give a dance class, hoping to inspire other women to be healthy, while still loving their own bodies. These are simple dance steps that you can do at home to start your journey to health and self acceptance.
