Snow Option #1: Ski Resorts

Some of the ski resorts like Whistler have great family money saving offers. Whistler has free rentals for kids.
No matter how often you ski or if you’re a complete beginner ski lessons are a great idea for both the kids and adults. I also means that the kids go to ski school for 45 minutes and its great way to keep them active as they learn and improve their ski skills so that everyone can enjoy the slopes for the duration of the break.

For families who aren’t big skiers there are still plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained including snow shoeing, snow sculpting, sledding & skating. Places such as Fairmont, Banff and Quebec have great resorts that offer all of this.

Snow Option #2: Waterparks

For kids, staying at any resort, one of the most important feature for them is the pool. So heading to a resort that has a waterpark will keep the kids entertained all day. Some fantastic resorts are Great Wolf Lodge which has 11 waterpark locations in North America & is the largest family of indoor water park resorts and Blue Mountain Plunge Aquatic Centre. Plunge! is the ultimate, all ages, four season water adventure at the base of Blue Mountain. Inspired from the tradition of cottage-style boathouses, Plunge! is an authentic and magical expression of a place and its people. Indoor-outdoor pools, indoor water playground, hot tubs, rope swings, docks and slides are sure to provide year-round fun.
