Drew and Johnathan Scott Are Your Favourite New Bartenders

Brothers and co-hosts Drew and Johnathan Scott battle it out with cocktail shakers and show us their favourite party drinks.

DREW’s RETRO 90s POP NIGHT COCKTAIL – BACKSTREET BOYS “BLACK AND BLUE” COCKTAIL
 
Ingredients
Makes 1 cocktail
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1.5 oz blue curacao
  • 1.5 oz white rum
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • Splash of lime juice
  • 1 package black licorice
  • 6 Mason jars 
Instructions
  1. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Combine all liquids into shaker. Shake well.
  3. Strain cocktail into mason jar, which is used as the glassware for this cocktail.
  4. Before serving, cut both ends off of a piece of black licorice, and use that as your straw. And there you have it – the “Black And Blue”!
 
JONATHAN’S CLASSIC BOARD GAME NIGHT COCKTAIL – “THE COLONEL MUSTARD”, INSPIRED BY THE BOARD GAME “CLUE”
 
Ingredients
Makes 1 cocktail
  • 1 oz gin
  • 2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 ½ oz peach brandy
  • 1 dash spicy Dijon mustard
  • Lime wedges for garnish
  • Sprigs of mint for garnish
  • 6 rocks glasses 
 
Instructions
  1. Combine gin, lime juice, peach brandy, Dijon mustard in a shaker with ice. Shake well.
  2. Strain into rocks glass
  3. Garnish with lime wedge on rim, and mint leaf across lip of glass
  4. Serve (no straw – this cocktail is meant to be sipped), and enjoy!
