Sweet Table Ending

Our resident baker Allyson Bobbitt showed how to incorporate colour into a beautiful sweet table. Here’s how you can recreate their painted vase.


 
What you need:

• a clear, glass vase any shape or size
• small can of latex paint
• newspaper
• sponge brush

 
How to do it:

1. Cover work surface with newspaper.
2. Fill vase about one-quarter full with newspaper.
3. Slowly tilt vase toward can of paint and rotate the vase, spreading paint around the inside of the vessel. Wait until the inside of the vase is completely saturated before pouring excess paint back into the can.
4. Smooth ridges with a sponge brush.
5. Set vase on its base to let dry. Allow for 24 hours dry time.
