DIY Gratitude Projects

Practice gratitude
  • Stop and smell the roses. Literally. And figuratively.
  • Use a hanging photo organizer to display thank you notes to everyone in your life you’re grateful for.
  • Write on a chalkboard or in a journal with your daily gratitudes. Do this at the end of each day.
Talk yourself up with affirmations
  • Celebrate your successes, however small they may be. Affirm that you rock
  • Make a “I ROCK eye chart” (FHE picture frame used)
  • Write a daily accomplishment list in your journal. Don’t forget how much you do!
  • Write an affirmation on your mirror with Crayola Window writers.
Smile at everyone. It’s contagious. You look prettier too.
  • Laughter (fake it if you must)
  • Do one good deed everyday
  • Volunteer more
  • Make a ‘Personal Growth Tree’ with your personal growth desires on it. What I need to do to be a better person? Write an affirmation OR an action you can take today. 
Aspire. Dream. Inspire.
  • Think kind, be kind.
  • Read books that inspire and not full of violence.
  • Success is whatever you want it to be
  • Fill a spiral frame with ‘words that make you happy’.
  • Display your “Bucket List” in a cute ‘flower pot’ picture holder.
