Take your burger to a new level with these delicious burger topping recipes from Roger Mooking.

The “Frenchy” Burger

Ingredients:

  • Caramelized onions
  • Beef patty
  • French baguette
  • Brie
  • Grilled apples
Directions:
Grill apple by brushing with olive oil and over direct high heat.  Grill till charred but still a bit crunchy.  Cook burgers and at the end of cooking the burger place slices of brie on top, last 2 minutes.  Finish cooking and let cheese melt.  Place burger on toasted baguette, top with grilled apple and caramelized onions.


The “Green & Yellow” Burger

Ingredients:

  • Yellow tomatoes
  • Shallots
  • Cilantro
  • Lime juice
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Jalapenos
  • Beef patty
  • Ciabatta bun
  • Garlic puree
  • Baby arugula
  • Sliced avocado


Directions:
Slice some avocado.  Make salsa with tomato, shallot, garlic puree, cilantro stems and roots, lime juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, jalapeno dice.

Spread the roasted garlic puree on the toasted buns, then place the burger on the bottom bun, arugula, avocado and salsa. 

The “Prosciutto” Burger

Ingredients:

  • Beef patty
  • Sourdough bun
  • Heirloom tomatoes
  • Onion
  • Prosciutto

Directions:
Put mustard on toasted buns, then place burger on bun bottom, then tomato, onion, and prosciutto.
