Serving Cheese

The classic cheese plate typically has three types of cheese:

  • Soft
  • Medium-bodied
  • Blue cheese

Let the cheese stand alone on its own plate. You’ll want to bring cheese to an ambient temperature and store it in a canteena, not the fridge. Bring the cheese out one hour before your party and only put out what you need to serve.

Seek out small cheese shops where you may find a better variety of cheese as opposed to the supermarket. You’ll also be able to sample the cheese before buying and may even learn the story of how the cheese was made. Kickstart party conversation by labeling the cheese based on their location and description.
