Five Easy Makeup Repair Tips

Jill Dunn shows us how to fix our fave makeup in a pinch.

  1. Broken Powder, Blush, Eyeshdaow: Use a dropper fill with rubbing alcohol. Place several drops on the broken powder until t forms a paste. Use a straight edge like a knife to smooth out the product and then let it dry.
  2. Dried Gel Eyeliner: Mix 2-3 drops of eye drops to dried eyeliner. Mix liner with toothpick until the eye drops are absorbed. Then pat the product down to smooth it back into its jar.
  3. Clogged spray nozzles: Remove nozzle and soak in warm water for a few minutes. Then use toothpick to pick out clogged product.
  4. Stuck nail polish cap: Place nail polish upside down in bowl of warm water. Leave for 5 minutes and remove.
  5. Residue on curling iron: Make paste using 3 parts baking soda and one part water. Wipe on curling iron and buff off until hairspray residue is removed.
