@AlyVelji

  • Old and New- I love to mix old pieces with the new, traditional with modern. I find that it really adds a great mix to any interior I design and gives it a great eclectic look. (A gorgeous Chinese alter table mixed with glam stools)
  • Whimsy- there has to be something out of the ordinary in every interior I design or decorate. I think this adds a fun factor to a space and keeps it from looking too boring or static. (Antlers, alligator heads, crows, dragons, or peacocks)

  • White- This has to be my favourite to use for walls, cabinetry and even furniture. I think it is a fabulous backdrop for any modern or traditional space.

  • Patter and texture- Something that is a must in any space. Through wallpaper and fabrics, I think layering these makes a space feel more dynamic.
  • Flooring- I love anything that is white washed, grey, or herringbone in design. I think these add so much character to a space and can make a new build feel old world and historic.
